Explore the Stars and Lead Your Crew in Transgalactica
The Galactic Senate has issued the “Transgalactica Decree”: all able-bodied crew members must join the mission to expand the frontiers of known space. Riches await those brave enough to explore new worlds, share knowledge, and establish far-flung trade outposts. But venturing into the unknown is never easy. Your fleet must be ready to face challenges both in battle and in the dizzying arena of interstellar politics.
To thrive in this game (and earn the most victory points), you’ll travel to the galaxy’s farthest reaches, expand your fleet’s influence across galactic affairs, compete with rival fleets for technological breakthroughs, build a thriving trade network, and even send representatives to the Galactic Senate to gain political advantages.

Designed by Daniele Tascini (co-designer of Tzolk’in, The Voyages of Marco Polo, Teotihuacan, and Tiletum) and illustrated by Edu Valls (Bitoku, 3 Ring Circus), Transgalactica plays well with 2–5 players, ages 14+, in about 90 minutes. Tailored for expert gamers, it challenges you to maximize your score through a blend of worker placement, resource management, and end-game objectives.
What’s in the Box
As with all Devir in-house productions, Transgalactica comes packed with premium components. The dual-layer player boards keep your pieces organized as you expand your fleet and resources. You’ll find a wealth of wooden pieces in different shapes and colors: captains, crew members, bases, and essential resources like energy, minerals, and alien tech. An optional sticker sheet adds character to your wooden components, bringing your fleet to life.
The game also includes a variety of bonus tiles, planet tokens, and mission and objective cards, all of which change from game to game thanks to a variable setup, ensuring high replayability and a fresh experience each session.

Stunning Art
The art by Edu Valls deserves a special mention. Drawing inspiration from classic space opera anime like Captain Harlock and the space operas of the 80s, Valls has infused the universe of Transgalactica with vibrant colors and personality. Each player faction has a unique design full of references (including nods to previous Devir space titles), and the box cover captures the thrill of space exploration, illustrating the boundary between known space, filled with ships and the uncharted unknown.
How It Plays
After players receive secret objectives and starting resources that give each faction a unique setup, it’s time to begin. Over five rounds, players will take turns sending their captains to different locations on the board to perform actions. There are eight possible actions: exploration, mining, trade, technology, military, production, politics, and omni.

Exploration lets you move your ship to a new planet on the star map and establish a base.
Mining is a key way to gather resources from planets and your player board.
Trade, technology, military, production, and politics advance your influence on their respective tracks, opening up further rewards.
Omni lets you repeat a previous action by paying credits and resources.
Once a player sends their captain to perform an action, other players, in turn order, may send one of their available crew members to the same location to perform the same action at reduced power often costing more resources or providing a weaker benefit. Once a captain has completed an action, that space is blocked until the next round, making timing and tactical planning crucial to outmaneuver your rivals.
