Get the exclusive Rock Hard 1977 picks!
Some picks are thicker, and others are thinner, but all of them serve to obtain the best notes from stringed instruments. David Gilmour of Pink Floyd used one with a very sharp tip, for example, while Angus Young of AC/DC used a very thick one. Such an iconic element could not be missing in Rock Hard 1977, and that is why each player has one with their color to determine the turn order.
For the most demanding rockers we have created an exclusive, very limited and free set of picks to play Rock Hard 1977 and replace the ones that come in the box with this collector's edition. Each pick can only be obtained after attending specific fairs and events in which Devir participates. The first of them is Gen Con, the largest board game event in the U.S., where we’ll launch the game. They'll also be available at Spiel Essen, Devir Shows, and Devir Fests worldwide.
And why will these items be so difficult to obtain? We wanted to replicate the same experience that happens with promotional material for rock bands: if someone wants to purchase all the material, they have to accompany the band throughout the tour, demonstrating unconditional support. Therefore, in each of the events mentioned above, one of the picks will be given away, so only those who attend all the events will be able to get the complete set. In all cases there will be very limited units, so they will be first come, first served. Can you collect them all?
